Express Bus Trip from Kuching to Kota Kinabalu
Since the airplane is fully booked, we went back to Kota Kinabalu venturing by Express Bus.
We purchased bus tickets BINTANG JAYA Express Bus : ADULT RM80.00 CHILD RM40.00 (Kuching-Miri) RM90.00 ADULT CHILD: RM45.00 (Miri to Kota Kinabalu). Departed at 5.30pm so we can have the connected bus from Miri to KK from Bt. 3 Bus Terminal, Kuching. The Bus was full. It a night trip and wet also raining from Kuching till Sibu. Short break-stops at Jelukong, Sarikei, Sibu, KM 89, Sibu-Bintulu Road, and Bintulu. Tried to get some sleep but the mind is quite awake. Reached Miri at 8.15am the next day. The connected express to KK was waiting for us. The bus conductor remind us to get our passport ready and Brunei transit pass to be filled in for the Brunei Immigression Check-Points later. We departed Miri at 9.00am. Not so many of us in the bus. Everybody were free-sitting. We went through 5 malaysia immigration/custom check-point (sg. tujuh, limbang, lawas, merapok and sundumin) and 4 Brunei immigration check-points (sg. tujuh, sg. labu, one more forget the name of place and puni). Everytime have to dismark from the bus to report ourselves to the authority concerned. A almost 3 hrs long que at ferry point between Limbang, Sarawak and Gadong, Brunei. Why don't the government built a bridge over this river. Just a matter of less than 1 minutes on board the ferry. Political issue i guess. Stopped for lunch break at Limbang. Reached KK at 9.30pm. I body ached and my sinus is back for being to long in air-conditioned. More than 24 hours journey and an experienced. Nothing much to see as it was night and raining from Kuching to Miri. Daytime when passing by in Brunei.Economical way to travel plus some sightseeing.

Sepanjang ke Papar 15.2.2011
Cuti umum hari ini. Kami jalan-jalanlah ke Papar tengok tempat. Tujuan mau cari daun tembakau yang sudah dikeringkan tapi belum di potong atau diproses lagi. Puas tilik di market Papar tak jumpa pun. Ibu-ibu di market tu cakap cari Keningau dan Ranau kerana di sana ada orang yang tanam pokok tembakau. Lain kali cuba lagi lah. Hari pun panas jadi kami pun pulang.
"On the way back", kami singgah di kedai perabut Deli. Wah, ada perabut yang cantik dan berkenanan di hati. Sofa yang diidamkan pun ada, cuma tak ada warna gelap, harga pun boleh tahan. Harga pun boleh tahan. Ada perabut moden dan yang klasik. Tanya dari mana datang Malaysia dan China. Kalau buatan Malaysia, boleh tahan juga "artwork" dan qualiti nya. Tak lama lagi kami mau pindah rumah baru (sewa lah) tu lah mau tinjau perabot kot-kot ada yang berkenanan bersesuaian dengan bajet.
Lepas tu kami singgah di BERINGGIS BEACH RESORT. First impression Resort ini, tak lah seberapa. Tapi bila pandang dari lobi, ok juga. Nampak quiet aje. Jadi kami ronda lah sampai pantai nya. Boleh tahan juga. Seni taman terpelihara, bersih. Sayang sekali kurang tetamu, nampak 2 budak mandi di kolam renang. Susunatur bangunan bilik resort nampak teratur. Barangkali kami akan mencuba menjadi tetamu di Resort ini untuk CUTI-CUTI MALAYSIA. Saya rasa pihak Pengurusan Resort perlu meningkatkan lagi strategi pemasarannya untuk menarik lebih ramai pengunjung dalam dan luar negara. Bina Resort/Hotel berjuta-juta ringgit (mungkin menggunakan peruntukkan Kementerian Pelancungan) tapi kurang mendapat sambutan. Sayangkan. Perlu satu "Marketing Team" yang kuat. Harga promosi Resort ini dari rm203 hingga rm500 termasuk sarapan. Masih mahal bagi orang tempatan, kalau pelancung luar negara lain lah. Kalau musim puncak ada tambahan "surcharge" rm40.00 satu malam. Nanti lah saya komen lagi, tunggu kami "check-in" dulu dan rasa.
